Join us for Night of Remembrance: Honoring Boarding Schools Survivors and Those Who Never Made it Home on Thursday September 29th at 6pm near the Minnesota State Capitol. We will hold a vigil and offer song, dance, and prayer in remembrance, honor, and encouragement.
We invite all Indian boarding school survivors to attend and be honored at this event, where they will have the opportunity to share words if wanted. We also invite all jingle dress dancers to attend and dance in honor of boarding school survivors.
Please bring your own chairs, water, and snacks. An ADA restroom will be available on site. We will have an ASL interpreter for the speaking portions of the evening. Masks and distancing are suggested to help protect our elders and other immune vulnerable populations.
