Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association & local Artist Peter Haakon Thompson are teaming up to help the community create and roll out a sea of flags in honor of the people, places, and ideas that are making a difference in our community. The flags will then be displayed at this year’s Powderhorn Art Fair and featured in the opening ceremony.

Local business RETHINK Tailoring & Sewing Lounge (3449 Bloomington Ave) is hosting fabric pick-up days AND a sewing assistance day. Neighbors can make a flag then drop it off at PPNA to be displayed at the Powderhorn Art Fair opening ceremonies and pick it up to take home after the fair.

Pick up fabric @Rethink: Wednesday, June 22nd - 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm or Wednesday, June 29th - 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Assisted Sewing Session & Fabric pick-up at RETHINK - Wednesday, July 13th: 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Tuesday, June 28th from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Powderhorn Park Rec Center
Join neighbors and friends to make your flag! Flags will be displayed at the opening ceremony of the Art Fair (August 6th & 7th) and then can be taken home with you!
