InspirAsian: Racial Justice in the Past, Present and Future

  • Wilder Foundation 451 Lexington Parkway North Saint Paul, MN, 55104 United States (map)

A space for youth, by youth. Let's take care of ourselves & each other.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen an accumulating amount of anti-Asian rhetoric and violence. Our lives are impacted everyday from fear to the grief of mourning our fellow community members. We should not continue to live in fear. This space is created and led by Asian American youth to discuss healing from past and present racism. We will be meeting and building relationships with other Asian American youth in Minnesota while being informed, empowered, and proud to be Asian American. As the next generation, it is our responsibility to undo the harmful legacies of America's past and build a better future, one that is just and joyful for all.

In order to attend, you must: 1/ be a young person (between 13 to 20 years old)

2/ identify as Asian American,

and, 3/ follow COVID-19 guidelines.

All participants will be asked to show their vaccination card or a negative COVID-19 test 72 hours before. There is a limited capacity for 50 youth, so make sure to register today! You will also be entered into a raffle to win a Tii Cup gift card or a boba plushie.

Racial justice is one of our priority issues because we believe that racism continues to affect everyone's daily lives. From microaggressions to racial violence, we must advocate and organize to address and uplift marginalized voices and experiences.
