This July, the Lake Street Truth Collective is hosting free, facilitated, translated, accessible “Conversation Cafés”:

  • 7/13: The Land Beneath Our Feet:: indigenous history of S.Mpls, redlining, displacement, migration

  • 7/15: The Air We Breathe and the Water We Drink:: current threats to our shared environments

  • 7/20: Crisis of Homelessness in South Mpls:: processing things that happened last summer

  • 7/22: Dignified Housing for All:: innovative solutions & other visions

  • 7/27-29: Community Violence + Organized Crime, Parts 1 & 2

The continuation of these conversations will be informed by July’s activities. Dinners take place from 7-10pm on Tues/Thurs nights (rain dates: Wed/Fri).
