Solace at the Palace is a day of community resilience and recovery through art. Longfellow Community Council is organizing an interactive art experience in the heart of downtown Longfellow (3032 Minnehaha Ave) from 12 to 6pm on Sunday, June 11th.
Throughout the day there will be live performances from local musicians and 20 vendors selling artwork, handmade items, bakery goods, and more. There will also be food trucks and kids art activities.
We have six art workshops (needle felting, printmaking, collage and poetry, fabric book making, leather working, and clay) that will take place throughout the event. Pre-registration is required. Register online: https://longfellow.org/solace-at-the-palace/
This event was funded by the Metro Regional Art Council (MRAC) and is funded, in part, by an appropriation from the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the State’s general fund.
