Re-Verb Open Mic

  • 821 East 35th Street Minneapolis, MN 55407 USA (map)

TruArt Speaks hosts a weekly open mic. Click here to access the open mic.

A free, all-ages space for creatives to share, engage in critical dialogue, and build community with one another in the historic Rondo neighborhood of Saint Paul, Re-Verb Open Mic takes place weekly on Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm.

Many of our favorite hometown and national artists have stopped into Re-Verb Open mic to share a song, a poem, or some music with us— we hope that you do too. TruArt’s primary audience consists of people who have historically been rendered invisible, those with (often multiple) marginalized identities, and artists— with a special focus on youth and young adults.

We believe that art & culture – especially Hip Hop – inspire connection, growth and social transformation.

The sign-up process is first-come, first-served, and we average about 15 available slots per evening. For more information on Re-Verb Open Mic, to know more about the culture of the space, or to inquire about being a feature, please contact us here.
