Central neighborhood was one of the first neighborhoods in Minneapolis where African Americans were able to Buy houses and own businesses! Now, 20 plus years later - Central neighborhood has the cultural diversity that reflects the richness of our society. ReImagine is a reflection of this diverse community as we strive to build a stronger alliance within our community! We cant wait to see all the different cultures and talents!

Reimagine 38th street began in 2020 during a tough time in our community as we were facing both the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent uprising following the murder of George Floyd. This event gave the city and the community an uplifting and energizing experience that brought hope back to the streets of Minneapolis.

REIMAGINE exists to dismantle anti blackness through eye-opening experiences while building a community of racial equality as we transform poverty into opportunity.
