Hosted by SoulSpeak Expressions; An eclectic mix of visual, wearable and performance art with a cause. Enliven your soul.
"The Rock Royalty Experience" shares the strength and pulse of the people like the rocks and crystals that circulate the frequencies in our earth, and the right to claim our healing as whole citizens of this city (Strong and Righteous). This experience is focused on synergizing the 3 worlds of science, ancestral alternative healing practices, and functional fashion.
It will include a late afternoon/evening healing mall before the actual runway style sharing, to share with the community opportunities to build individual and communal/collective healing toolkits.
Among the stations will be massage, acupuncture, talking circles, yoga, reiki, drum circle, aromatherapy, herbalism, crystal healing, sound healing, jewelry, plant-based foods, clothing, and more.
The outcome is to have the community experience more normalcy of alternative healing and wellness practices by people who reflect who they are.
The second half of this experience is a sharing of functional wearable art from clothing to healing accessories and healing jewelry in a runway style sharing. This is meant to share and celebrate with the community our ritual of dressing with purpose and wearing the positive vibrations from the semi-precious gemstones enhances our energy toward healing. This action continues to build our circle of knowledge and support for black healers, crafters, creators. Together, we forward the movement of deeper self-awareness and community healing. It is also meant to uplift and show off hard-working members of the community that have supported George Floyd Square, the movement of restoration, and various levels of justice all over the city. Elevating the sense of pride in those from the Minneapolis communities of concern that have served in any role of positive healing over the time of George Floyd's Murder and beyond. The experience seeks to share the beauty in healing that comes from our communing with earth energy, community, and restoration of wholeness in all of its forms.
