Minimum Wage Increase in Minneapolis Takes Effect 7.1.22
The Minneapolis minimum wage ordinance defines small businesses at 100 or fewer employee and large businesses as 100+ employees. Tips and gratuities do not count toward payment of the minimum wage. The City’s Department of Civil Rights oversees enforcement of the municipal minimum wage and wage theft prevention ordinances.
