Black Lines Matter: Where Black Writers Meet

  • Black Table Arts Co-op 3737 Minnehaha Avenue Minneapolis, MN, 55406 United States (map)

Organized by the Black Table Arts Co-op

This space is for and by black people. Black Lines Matter is a home for black poets thinking about joy and liberation. Black Lines Matter is a regular writing space for black communities to connect, get feedback and engage other black poets. This is a space where we think through the craft of writing and the tactics of liberation.

These sessions will be bi-weekly geared toward two things 1) Holding space for black writers to create and share new work. 2) Studying poetic craft through black writing pulling from historic and contemporary writers. Join us as we search through language to celebrate, survive and fight.
