Communities Against Police Brutality Meeting

  • Beltrami Park 1111 Summer Street Northeast Minneapolis, MN, 55413 United States (map)

Hosted By Communities Against Police Brutality

The US Department of Justice is launching an investigation into the Minneapolis Police and City of Minneapolis. They will be looking at used of force and whether the police engage in racial discrimination. If the investigation is done well, the DOJ will put together a CONSENT DECREE- a list of required changes. The consent decree will then be presented in court.

Come tell your story and share your ideas. These events will be held at 6 p.m. each night and we will serve dinner. Bring a chair or blanket. You can also contact the DOJ directly to tell your story. Call 866-432-0268 or email community.minneapolis@usdoj.gov

How you can be involved:
1. Help decide what should become part of the consent decree
2. Tell your story to the DOJ
3. Help us collect other people's stories.
