We are a group dedicated to the study and practice of community investment, with a focus on supporting the Cultural Wellness Center, particularly to build a permanent home, Dreamland on 38th.

Dreamland will be a flexible, supportive work space and community gathering space for the community! Focusing on African American entrepreneurs, working at the intersection of food and heritage, Dreamland builds on the work that CWC has done since 1996 to unleash the power of people to heal themselves and to build community. Located just a few blocks from George Floyd Square, Dreamland will anchor African American-owned economic development and cultural preservation in an area that has been harmed by redlining, displacement, and racial covenants.

There will be woodfire pizza (suggested donation $20, not one turned away for lack of funds), live music, and words from Elder Atum Azzahir.
