Early in 2022, the St. Paul City Council unanimously voted to create the “Reparations Legislative Advisory Committee,” to explore the concept of reparations, its historical rationale and possible future impact, measures adopted in other cities, and strategies for implementation. The Committee will soon issue its recommendations to the City Council, the Mayor, and our wider community.
