Memorialize the Movement has partnered with several other Black-led organizations to help our community preserve the plywood murals and tell this story. Our goal is to memorialize this civil rights movement in the same ways that we have memorialized the march on Washington or the Montgomery bus boycott. This will be the first of an annual exhibition that will remind us of our history and why we must continue to fight for justice and peace.
