VOICE OF CULTURE: THE GRIOT SERIES — Afrofuturistic Herstory
Monday, February 20, 2023 / Doors: 7:00 PM / Show: 7:30 PM

The Griot Series will highlight and uplift the cultural arts from the Black American oral tradition stemming from West Africa and the African Diaspora. Drumming, dancing, singing, telling stories; that's how griots spend their time. Each edition of The Griot Series brings a different intersection of cultural artists sharing and exploring, inviting participation from a circle of community members. February's Griot Series focuses on creating new good boundaries based on our connections within an ever-evolving Afrofuturistic Herstory.
