Community Connections Conference
The City of Minneapolis invites you to join City, neighborhood and community leaders for a day of learning, sharing and connecting with the theme of: “Minneapolis in motion” Join us for food, dance, resources, exciting topics and get involved in your city! The conference is open to everyone and will run together with the 2023 Green Zone Summit for environmental justice. Pre-registration is on the City website.

Muslim Women's Leadership Conference: Self-Love & Liberation
The RISE conference centers Muslim women’s voices by building a social network, providing concrete steps for change, and inspiring women to use their own strengths to positively affect social issues.
Our theme this year, SELF-LOVE & LIBERATION, reminds us that loving ourselves is part of liberating our communities. Join us for a day of inspiration and motivation as we learn from Muslim women practitioners of self-care and community care.

Angelica Lindsey-Ali: The Village Auntie
Angelica Lindsey-Ali aka The Village Auntie™ is a certified sexual health educator, researcher, storyteller, author, and recognized authority in intimacy cultivation and emotional well-being. She teaches from both an African and Islamic perspective. With over 20 years of experience in public and behavioral health, Lindsey-Ali draws upon her clinical, cultural and religious training to educate women about spirituality and intimacy from an Islamic lens. She is the founder of The Village Auntie Institute, a global learning community with women representing 86 different countries.

Fall is just around the corner and that means it's time for our annual Re-imagining Justice Conference. Save the date to join us on Nov. 16th (in person) and 17th (virtually) this year for what will be an inspiring two days of keynotes and sessions. Trans Equity Summit
Hosted by the City of Minneapolis,
the ninth annual Minneapolis Trans Equity Summit takes place at Minneapolis College. The summit, which is free and open to the public, includes both virtual and in-person events.
This year’s keynote speaker
is louie ortiz-fonseca, the creator of Gran Varones, a digital project that highlights LGBTQ pop culture history and community storytelling through a Black/Latinx lens. An intergenerational panel discussion featuring youth and elders is planned, followed by breakout sessions.Speakers

The Midwest Asset Building Conference brings practitioners, policy advocates, and researchers together to strengthen our collective work to disrupt the racial wealth divide and help families build prosperity in the Midwest.
